Studio Print was founded in 1994 by Liam Magee, Liam starting off as a Graphic Designer and Lithographic Printer creatively producing large runs of catalogues, books and stationery. Liam swiftly moved with the times when digital printing was first introduced changing his service offering to meet the demand of his customers, shorter print runs with shorter lead times were a must. Studio Print soon became a small format digital printing house.

Fast forward to Dec 2017, Sarah (pictured below), Liam’s daughter came on board bringing with her over 10 years of experience in Print Sales mainly in bespoke point of sale and signage. A good mix of both Liam and Sarah’s knowledge and experience in the print industry have enabled them to grow the business each year.

Between 2018-2019 Sarah and Liam updated their machinery taking on a much more streamlined approach to printing and finishing. They also introduced wide format printing to their service offering after investing in an Epson Surecolor Printer, a plotter, a cutter and wide format laminating machine. This investment brought Studio Print to the next level, opening a lot of doors in terms of signage. Studio Print was now a one stop Digital Printing Hub with Graphic Designers in house, producing anything from business cards, catalogues, signage, exhibition point of sale and vehicle graphics to name a few.

Sadly, in May 2019 Liam passed away suddenly leaving the Studio Print team devastated. Studio Print was his life’s work. Liam was very proud of the business that he had built up and was incredibly passionate about the work that he did. Many of Liam’s loyal customers became friends over the years. Friendships that he held in a very high regard.

Sarah and team pulled together, made some changes, upskilled and now have an extensive plan in place for what’s to come for Studio Print. So, watch this space!
